Digital Transformation of Asset & Inventory Tracking


Migrating tracking systems to a web-based, real-time solution for enhanced efficiency and visibility.

✅ Project Overview:


Leading the transformation of asset and inventory tracking systems by migrating them to a scalable, web-based platform. The current system relies on offline Windows mobile applications and thick-client software, which limits flexibility and modernization. The goal is to enhance features and functionalities in line with current technological trends while designing a future-proof system that requires minimal changes for at least 10-15 years. Most modifications should be configurable, reducing dependency on code-level updates.

✅ Current Progress & Roadmap:

  • Asset Tracking Migration: In progress (2025 target)
    • Migration to the new web-based platform is in progress.
    • The rollout will begin with the Ministry of Finance, followed by phased deployment across all existing customers.
  • Inventory Tracking Migration: Scheduled for 2026
    • The goal is to integrate inventory tracking within the asset management system under a unified platform.
    • The new system will enable both asset and inventory tracking to operate seamlessly within the same runtime environment, ensuring better integration and ease of use.
    • A consistent front-end experience will be maintained across both modules for an intuitive user experience.

  • Solution Architecture & System Design:
    • Designing a highly scalable and future-proof system that can sustain at least 10-15 years without requiring major modifications to core features.
    • Ensuring that most changes and enhancements can be configured dynamically rather than through code modifications.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Working closely with senior management and technical teams to align development with business objectives.
    • Leading implementation and testing teams, providing guidance on Feature-Based Requirements (FBR) documentation and test case creation.
  • Data Accuracy & Security:
    • Ensuring seamless data migration with high accuracy.
    • Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive asset and inventory data.

Etisalat e& Smart Autonomous Store


Led a Development and execution of an AI-powered, fully autonomous retail stores, integrating facial recognition and real-time inventory tracking.

✅ Project Overview:


Led the design and execution of AI-powered, fully autonomous retail stores for Etisalat, integrating advanced technologies to revolutionize the customer experience. This project was one of the most complex projects undertaken due to two key reasons:


  • Tight Deadline: The project was directly linked to GITEX 2023, requiring rapid development and deployment within a constrained timeline.
  • Extensive Integrations: The solution required seamless integration with over 10 different systems, ensuring they worked simultaneously to deliver a smooth, automated shopping experience.

  • This was the first autonomous retail store implemented by a telecom company anywhere in the world and the first of its kind for any company in the Middle East.


    ✅ Key Responsibilities:


  • AI-Powered Customer Experience: Developed and implemented facial recognition systems for seamless customer identification and personalized service.
  • Advanced System Integrations: Integrated real-time tracking mechanisms to monitor inventory, customer interactions, and system performance across multiple platforms.
  • Hardware Implementation: Successfully deployed Cleveron 402 and Cleveron 403 robotic solutions to enhance the efficiency and automation of store operations.

    Mondelez Bahrain Warehouse Automation


    Implementation of an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to enhance warehouse operations, increase efficiency, and integrate with existing ERP systems.

    ✅ Project Overview:

    The Mondelez Bahrain Warehouse Automation project involved the design, installation, and integration of an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to optimize warehouse processes. The automation solution included:

    • 4 Conveyors for material movement.
    • 2 Lifts for vertical transportation.
    • 10 Floors for structured storage.
    • 10 Shuttle Robots for automated retrieval and placement.
    • 32 Aisles per side (2 sides) per floor, with 18 pallets per aisle.
    • Pallet capacity of up to 1000kg, storing products such as Burny Orio biscuits, Tang, etc.
    • Integration with SAP modules (PP, PM) and a separate label printing system.

    ✅ Key Responsibilities:

    • Planning & Coordination:
      • Defined project scope, objectives, and timelines.
      • Developed a project roadmap and ensured alignment with business needs.
      • Facilitated coordination between stakeholders, internal teams, and technology partners.
    • Execution & Implementation:
      • Led installation and commissioning of ASRS components.
      • Managed integration with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
      • Oversaw Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
