My Professional & Personal Journey

16/11/1993

My Birthday

Humble Beginnings

  • I was born in Sareya, a small village in the Gopalganj district of Bihar. Growing up in a modest rural setting, I was shaped by the values of hard work, resilience, and perseverance. Life in the village was simple yet challenging, instilling in me the determination to rise above circumstances and carve my own path.
  • In my family, I am the second child and the first son among six siblings. Education was a distant dream, not just for my family but for most families in our village—both Hindu and Muslim. The prevailing mindset prioritized survival over schooling. Many families believed that having more children meant greater strength in numbers, ensuring they could defend their land in case of disputes. Conflicts were often settled with lathis rather than words or law, as people fought to protect their homes and livelihoods.
  • Over time, a change in perspective began to spread. More people in our village started valuing education, and as a result, Sareya became one of the most educated villages in the region. This transformation paved the way for the next generation, offering them opportunities that once seemed impossible. While there is still much to improve, I have faith that progress will continue, and the seeds of change will flourish even further.
1996 - 1998

Early Education

Madrasha Education

  • During my early years, with no one educated in my family, my mother taught me whatever she knew about Islam and prayers. She instilled in me the basics of duas and encouraged me to learn more. Recognizing the importance of education, she started sending me to our village madrasa.
  • At the madrasa, I was introduced to Islamic teachings and learned to read Arabic. I had a keen ability to grasp new concepts quickly, which caught the attention of the madrasa's Moulvi. Impressed by my learning skills, he advised my parents to enroll me in a formal school. Taking his advice, my father decided to send me to a small school run by just two teachers, where they taught all subjects from Nursery to Class VI.
1999 - 2004

Primary School Education

Nursary to Class VI

  • After enrolling in primary school, I progressed rapidly, completing Nursery to Grade 1 within a year. I started in 1998, and by 2004, I had completed Grade 6. I skipped multiple classes—sometimes because I was quick in learning, and other times just to stay in the same class as my friends. Since the school had only two teachers handling all subjects, there was little academic pressure.
  • The teaching in those early years was very simple and basic, far less structured than today’s syllabus. Learning resources were limited, and the curriculum was not as comprehensive as it is now.
  • Remarkably, my school fees for the entire period up to Grade 6 were less than $15—almost 10% of what other village schools charged at the time. Even if I include all other expenses, the total cost of my primary education never exceeded $100.
2004 - 2008

Secondary School Education

For my secondary education, I enrolled in a government school. However, for the first two years, I barely attended classes or studied at home. The only thing I consistently did was take private math tuition.

  • Things changed when I entered Class IX, all because of one teacher—Wasim Sir. He saw potential in me and started giving me extra attention, personally teaching me Math, Physics, and Chemistry. His encouragement ignited my interest in studies. I had no idea how much effort was needed to pass the exams, but friendly study competitions with my peers pushed me forward. Somehow, I managed to score the highest marks in my school, alongside one of my friends—something no one had expected from me.

  • After becoming the school topper, people started asking about my future—would I continue studying or start working? Once again, with the support of my friend, I moved to Patna to pursue my higher secondary education. I joined tuition classes and started preparing for competitive university exams.

  • After completing my 10th grade, my teachers and friends advised me that choosing Science with Math would open pathways for engineering or a diploma in engineering. This guidance gave me some clarity, so I decided to take Mathematics and Science for my higher secondary studies.
2008 - 2011

Secondary High School Education

For my higher secondary education, I enrolled in a small school where I only attended to maintain my attendance and appear for the final exams. My real learning journey, however, began when I moved to Patna—a world entirely different from what I had known.

  • It was my first time leaving my village and district for studies, and the experience was overwhelming. I realized that the world was vast, and the achievements that had once mattered in my village were just a small part of a much bigger competition. Life in Patna was intense—students worked relentlessly from early morning until midnight, balancing their board exam preparations with competitive exam studies, all chasing the dream of clearing IIT.

  • Unfortunately, the immense pressure, combined with unfamiliar food, took a toll on my health. I fell seriously ill with severe jaundice and was bedridden for almost three months. By the time I recovered, I had lost track of my studies and felt like giving up. However, with my family's support, I decided to restart. I took a gap year and prepared again, this time with greater discipline and determination.

  • One of my biggest challenges was English—back in my village, I had studied everything in Hindi, but in Patna, English was the medium of instruction. This shift made learning even harder, but I persevered.

  • Despite my efforts, I couldn't clear IIT, nor did I score high enough to secure a top-tier seat in NIT. However, I managed to do well in my 12th board exams and received admission offers from Bhopal and Kolkata. After careful consideration, I chose to pursue my Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication at Technocrats Institute of Technology, Bhopal.

  • This phase of my life taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of pushing through challenges—lessons that have shaped who I am today.

Bachelor of Engineering

Domain: Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Institute: Technocrat Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Madhaya Pardesh, India

  • When I took admission at TIT Bhopal, one of my friends from my village also joined a different college in the same city. Our families suggested that we live together in an apartment for support, but I had a different vision for myself. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, disconnect from familiar surroundings, and meet new people to learn from their experiences. So, I decided to stay in the college hostel for my first year.

  • On my first day of college, I was already a week late compared to my classmates. The first session was on communication skills, and the professor asked everyone to introduce themselves on stage. I was so nervous that I couldn’t gather the courage to go up. This moment shattered my confidence. Later that semester, I had to give a seminar in English, but when I stepped onto the stage, I couldn’t utter a single word—I was terrified of speaking in front of people.

  • This experience crushed my confidence, but I decided to channel my frustration into studies. I worked extremely hard, and by the end of the semester, I became the topper of my department. Suddenly, everyone started noticing me, and people began approaching me for friendship.

  • However, this newfound recognition distracted me, and in the next semester, my grades dropped significantly—I wasn’t even in the top 20 of my class. My classmates started speaking negatively about me. Determined to prove myself again, I worked tirelessly for the next three semesters and became the topper three times in a row, regaining my confidence.

  • After that, I shifted my focus from just academics to practical skills that would prepare me for the industry. Instead of studying hard for theoretical exams, I enrolled in external courses on C, C++, Embedded Systems, Communication Skills, and Analytical Thinking. Over the next three semesters, I dedicated myself to developing my overall personality and industry readiness.

  • When campus placements began, I faced my biggest challenge—communication skills and stage fear. Despite my strong technical knowledge, I was rejected by over 20 companies. However, I refused to give up. I worked relentlessly on my communication and confidence, and finally, I secured a job at ADP India—one of the leading companies at the time, with one of the highest salary offers. I also received a few more offers but ultimately decided to join ADP.

  • My college life was unforgettable. I made many friends and became quite popular, but a few close friends truly shaped my journey. They were kind, supportive, and always there for me—in both good and bad times. College was also when I celebrated my birthday for the first time, which was a special experience.

  • Looking back, those four years were some of the best years of my life. The journey was filled with struggles, learning, and personal growth, but it shaped me into the person I am today. It was an absolutely amazing ride!

However, fate had different plans. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the company itself was forced to shut down. The owners were incredibly supportive and helped me secure temporary work in an alternate company while I searched for a stable position.
